Synopsis

At Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, the students enjoy an unprecedented amount of freedom. However, the school employs a strict merit-based system where students are ranked and rewarded according to their performance.

The story follows Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, a quiet and unassuming student who is placed in Class D, the lowest tier of the hierarchy. Although Class D seems to be a haven for troublemakers and underachievers, Kiyotaka harbors extraordinary intellectual capabilities. Together with Suzune Horikita and Kikyou Kushida, he begins navigating the cutthroat dynamics of the school to climb the ranks while unearthing its secrets.
